I have spent over 15 years working in the legal industry advising on cross-jurisdictional disputes and domestic law in the areas of civil and criminal litigation, EU law, family and immigration law.

I have advised hundreds of clients from over 35 countries across 6 continents, both individuals and families, from small and medium business owners to large companies, entrepreneurs, start-ups, artists, students and numerous others.

I have also worked with vulnerable clients who have been survivors of exploitation and domestic abuse. My clients have been people from a variety of backgrounds, including native English speakers, bilinguals, dual-nationals and immigrants from all over the world, many of whom spoke with different accents and for whom English was not their first language.

Some of my clients had gone through so much trauma that they did not want to speak at all. I believe the key to communication is not only hearing what is said, but also understanding what is not said.

By asking the right questions you can significantly improve your communication skills and work more effectively.

I have worked with clients from: Poland, the UK, the US, Ireland, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Germany, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Ukraine, Czechia, Slovakia, Finland, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, the Philippines, Malaysia, the UAE, India, Pakistan, Russia, Ukraine, Morocco, Algeria, Congo, Nigeria, Gambia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Bolivia and Mexico.

Having trained, qualified and practised in both civil and common law jurisdictions, I can navigate the legal complexities between these two legal systems.

This has inspired me to pursue my passion for languages and education, combine it with my legal experience and start a Legal English training consultancy for international lawyers and students who want to learn about the English legal system and want to work with international clients.
